i want to setup bookmark as follows:
<bookmark>
<name>dvd</name>
<path>d:\videos\</path>
</bookmark>
but no matter what i do, xbmc always shows the root of d, not the videos folder.

d is the dvd drive right?so i guess unless you place an iso disc which has a folder called videos , it will not direct you to that directory.
unless you mean f:\ or e:\ . make sure that the folder you have on the drive on the xbox is the same name as the one you are placing on the xml. i often get errors when i use videos instead of video

thanks for the reply frodo, autoplay does work, but i need to put xbmc on a dvd with videos in a videos folder, so that i can boot it up and then goto videos which then displays d:\videos.
