Solved TV Shows - Scrape new items doesn't appear to do anything
#1
Hi,

I've added an TV episode in my data source. I wanted TMM to scrape this. When I choose 'Scrape new items' (Ctrl+Shift+N) it doesn't appear to do anything.

If I scrape the whole TV show, Search and Scrape selected TV show (Ctrl_Shift+S) it scrapes all old episodes + the new episode. So it works, but it takes a long time.

I'm using 4.1.1 (Pro) with Scraper tvdb.

Anyone knows what I can do to scrape only the new episode? And yes, I'm new to TMM, so I might have overlook something...

Thnx!

did you check whether the episode has actually been scraped or not?

- with 4.1 we've introduced a feature to store the scraper settings of the last chosen settings per TV show - if you scrape new items and tmm finds those settings it does not need to show a dialog for the scraper settings any more and should start scraping directly
- and since 2016 we only start the scrape of new items if there is no metadata available for the episode! if you already have an NFO for the new episode, scraping will not even start

PS: you could also highlight the new episodes and right click -> scrape episode metadata for the selected episodes only Wink

I checked, and it is not scraped.

When I open the TV show in TMM, the name of the episode is still:
S08E05

Also when I check the disk, there is only an .mkv file, and no jpg files or anything.

When I do a full scrape, it will scrape old + new episodes, but that takes a long time.

Greets,
Ray

I can't find the setting for 4.1 you mention, to store the sraper settings of the last chosen settings per TV show.

There are no NFO files for the new episodes.

When I rightclick the new episode end click scrape episode metadata, that works fine.
