So I have my default TV show listing set to un-watched filter, this allows us to see all the TV shows we have to watch since I purge older watched ones. Now I've created a playlist using a path rule for my Kids shows BUT I want to achieve the following and having trouble.

1. I added her folder as a source in Kodi but for the playlist to work and then it ends up in my general list of TV shows. I setup the source to exclude scanning but the content wouldn't show up in the playlist without me doing the scan and then it pops up in my general TV shows list. Is there a way around this? Heck I could even rename the files since I don't care about NFO for these guys.
   
2. From the playlist if I have my TV shows list set to un-watched filter it hides the watched ones in the playlist as well. How can I keep TV on un-watched mode and then allow this TV playlist for the Kids in all videos mode?
   

Any guidance or help would be welcomed. Thanks!

My question is about nodes is that it would still have the Defined filter mode based on the content flag right? So for example in my TV shows in Kodi if I set it to unwatched only this would show unwatched shows right? Looks like Video nodes is just a playlist as well. Just trying to SHOW all items in a playlist regardless of playcount/playtime and regardless what the list filter is setup for TV shows section.
