Hi,
I have a nextcloud instance providing a webdav interface. I can add webdav directories as mediasources and add them to the tv show and movie library. However, when I try to play a movie kodi takes forever to open, or sometimes does not react at all anymore.
So it seems the connection is pretty slow streaming webdav content from this server.
To check that this is not a problem with the server or with the connection from the machine running kodi (windows 10) to the server, I checked if I could play the streams using vlc ("open network stream"). That works as its suppost to be.
So i think the problem is with kodi in my setup. Is there something like network-chaching for streaming that I could adapt to improve performance?
Any idea where to look is appreciated.
