I using amber on 2 instances of Kodi and want to keep the home screens synced specifically for recently played icons. I can listen for play / stop events and "reload skin" is there a better way to do this. the reload skin seems a sledge hammer. are there any helper methods / addons that can reload the sources the shelfs (shelves) use?
