Do u use a DVD-DISC or a ISO Copy or something else??
Do u setup the region code corectly in the Kodi Settings??
Can you acces the menu directly?

I'm getting a similar problem on Debian 11. The .iso plays, the "COPYRIGHT WARNING" screen appears, then the DVD company ident (not sure if this is supposed to have sound on the one I'm trying - will try a few more), then Kodi simply closes. Region code set to "not forced" or "2" makes no difference.
