I noticed this behaviour when a video started with words and the first 2 words of the video were cut off. I tried to seek back to the start, but it would again only seek back to ~1 second of the start.

I've also tried to illustrate the issue. The upper waveform represents kodi playback, the lower one is from MPC-BE. As you can see, the video starts playing in Kodi with information at the beginning missing.
