Hello,i have a question how the multiscreen option in Kodi work ?
Is it possible to use 2 screens and have at one screen the "home menu" and at the other the "player" , i would use a touchscreen as remote for controle Kodi ,i select for example a movie /play and i have the movie how play on TV (player window) and on the touchscreen i rest in home menu ...
Thanks for helping me and explain me what i can do exactly with multiscreen option...

The short answer to that is "no". The only option is to 'clone' multiple screens with the identical screen resolution. There is no separate output on different monitors.

The only touch-screen option would be to use a smartphone or tablet as a remote for the Kodi setup.

Thank you , so its possible to use Android app for have the complet home menu and remote with this other pc/Android box...for start a movie for example ,and with the app i rest in home menu ?

Yes and no, it's not an identical screen but the Kodi Remote apps for Android and iOS will use Kodi's database and content to control the main Kodi screens via the typical cursor and enter keys. Starting and navigating videos is of course possible via the remote.

Kodi can be controlled via it's web interface, so you could have the main Kodi display on one screen and on the second a web browser that's pointing at at the web interface and use that to run things.
