can't figure out howto enter TV and Movie sources
#1
I went into sonar and radar and changed the address of the TV and Movie sources.  That worked out just dandy.  Then I went to kodi and tried to change that that same address as it couldn't find them.  Everything thing I tried failed.  Just can't seem to get to it.

I tried the starting a videos and moving forward.  The problem is that it can't find anything because I updated everything with sonarr and radarr so it can't find anything.

Thoughts?

I've never used sonarr and radarr. But I know from all my time on the forum that they are not fully Kodi compatible when creating nfo files. I think I have mentioned this to you before.

What does this mean? Is this the save location for downloads?
If yes, then you need to add two new Sources to point at the new download locations.
Don't try to edit anything. Just add two new Sources in Kodi.
If you have moved your entire video collection to these two new sources in sonarr, then you need to delete your library and rescrape back into the library.

thanks for the reply!

So how do I get rid of my existing library(s) in Kodi (I fear doing that would destroy my two (tv & movies) source files (whilst doing some of this stuff I have had that actually happen once)

Context Menu > Remove source

Guide here... https://kodi.wiki/view/Updating_or_remov...ove_Source

This only deletes the source in Kodi library. It does not delete your video files.
To be doubly certain, make sure you have not enabled "Delete" in Kodi settings. 2.4... https://kodi.wiki/view/Settings/Media/General

I'm sorry - confused.......

Entering sources is twofold.  There are the basic sources and then there are the TV and Movies sources.  I did the first one, no problem.  However, trying to change TV and Are different.  The way kodi says is to just create some new one going to /videos/files and simply creating new kodi libraries.  The problem is that when I try to goto /videos/files it won't let me because it doesn't have the new address for tv and movies.  I suspect I have to find this stuff on my system and change it there but I am clueless on where to find these files.  I have found some but they are old and things have changed.

It seems so simple.  All I need to do is to tell kodi where to go to get the shows to show.  I just can't figure out how to do that.

Solved my problem!

I renamed my kodi. file to kodi.back and then ran kodi and reset everything and its working file.

Thanks for the help!

for example, I have no idea what that means.
I guess you are using some weird system like Android Wink

Anyway, if you have solved it, all good.
