The log says that the file smb://192.168.1.44:445/Public/SkyExtractCookie-1.0.3-windows/skyshowtime.key does not exist.  
Try copying the key file to the device instead of attempting to access it remotely.

ok, it's just strange that this is the only case where I can't use external storage... that's probably not entirely right...

for some reason I still get "unsupported browser/client" error when trying to playback.
repo version is already 0.7.2, inputstream adaptive is installed and active, Kodi ver21, Windows 11.
