Hi,

I am having an issue with Clearlogo not being scraped for my older movie files. When I add a new file it automatically scrapes the clearlogo images, they look great. I figured an update library would rescrape all of my missing images, but no cigar. I have discovered a work-around but it is very time consuming and frankly annoying. If I go into the "Information" for a movie and select the "Refresh" icon then "Refresh from Internet - Yes" option it populates the missing artwork. However it loses all of my previous saved art settings and reverts back to the default poster and fanart. As I have painstakingly worked my way through 960+ odd files adding new art etc I do not want to have to do this for each and every file just to gain access to "clearlogo" art.

Why is it not picked up on the Update Library scan as missing? Am I missing a setting? I use the Aeon Nox Silva skin and Matrix 19.5.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I should also note that the issue appears to be linked to a Kodi Update. I've discovered that clearlogo does not work with any movie files that were added under Leia. I recently updated to Matrix 19.5 and all the files added since have "clearlogo" art scraped. I think this may have some bearing with the answer.

Update library will only add new files not rescan old ones.

Well, if artwork is important to you, then you need to save it locally.
Install Artwork Dump and let it download the original artwork for you. That way, when you need to rebuild the library your artwork is preserved.
It won't download the missing clearlogo, but once you have the local artwork, you can Refresh and the clearlogo artwork will be scraped and your local artwork is reused.

Once you have done this, you can delete the Source and rescrape it all again.
Preferably you should Export to Separate Files to create nfo files which will be scanned. Don't export artwork when asked.

When you say "delete the source", what exactly do you mean, is this a lib file in the Kodi folder? I have all my files on a local NAS and am not going to delete them from there. Sorry for being not entirely savvy with the inner workings of Kodi. It is a great resource tho for my needs, and I truly do appreciate your time and patience in answering my questions.

When you say "delete the source", what exactly do you mean, is this a lib file in the Kodi folder?

Go to Videos>Files
On the Source, call up the Context Menu and select Change Content
Change the option from Movies to None. Answer Yes to delete all library entries.
Then go back, change it back to Movies and rescrape.
As I said, you need local artwork and nfo files in place first because doing this is going to wipe everything that is in the Library from that Source.
