I am running Kodi with all defaults.  I have some music files etc in my favorites list.  When I take a click on one of the favorites file names it brings up the below menu options. 

Move up
Move down
Choose thumbnail
Rename
Remove

Is it possible to add choices to this menu.  Something as simple as Information which is on several other of the context and sub context menus in Kodi.   So that it would end up looking like...

Move up
Move down
Information
Choose thumbnail
Rename
Remove

Is there an app something like a Kodi menu editor?  An editor that would allow me to customize the menus to add common options or delete options that I dont need on a default build.

the existing menus cannot be changed unless you custom compile your own version of kodi

you can add options by creating a context menu addon (the type of addon this support section is for) - https://kodi.wiki/view/Context_Item_Add-ons

if you need help creating your own addon then you should post in the add-ons forum of the developer section - https://forum.kodi.tv/forumdisplay.php?fid=26

if you want to request a custom addon be created that does not exist you may post requests here - https://forum.kodi.tv/forumdisplay.php?fid=251

otherwise search the forum you are posting in to find something that suits your needs

One other thought.  Is there a place to post for a change to the kodi builds.  I am only looking to have Information added to the particular favorites menu.

note that section only regards kodi core and not addons

There are of course other options, for example "script.skin.helper.widgets" that supports favorites with the function that you miss in Kodi favorites.
Using this addon works best with skins that use "script.skinshortcuts".

edit: 
The info only applies to Movie and Tv Shows. 

But I think the function could also be integrated into music. The addon developer must decide this.
