My device was updated yesterday to 21.1 and Madnox version 21.01.02 is apparently not compatible. I'm bummed. What is necessary to re-enable Madnox?

What is the exact error message the Kodi is spitting out when you tried to load the skin?
Does it say can't satisfy some GUI value or invalid structure, or some other message?

Well cool. I'll uninstall and reinstall. Haven't tried that yet. Will report back.

Well it uninstalled but it won't reinstall. It says "Failed to install a dependency"
UPDATE: I noticed in the dependencies that Skin Helper wasn't installed. I installed that v2.something and immediately Madnox skin install was successful. So all good now!

Thanks very much for this. Madnox was always my favorite skin. I do miss being able to use TV logos instead of posters/landscape when browsing my shows in the Cover view options.
But the one thing that I think might be broken is that there are no "Watched" icons in file mode. The work great in my TV an Movie libraries, but I have a download folder that I map to on my Kodi homescreen that I basically use as a DVR. Old Madnox, the other Aeon skins, and other current ones like Amber and Metropolis all marked things as watched in folders like those.
So I have a directory that activates in Kodi with "ActivateWindow(Videos,D:/Download,return,return)" and I'd like to have watched videos in there marked. Do you know of a way I can implement that in this Madnox skin? It's my favorite by far, but that's one little feature that my family is missing in a big way. Any info you can provide is appreciated. Thanks!

It is something that has been brought up. I use Kodi in mostly a library mode and only videos when I have a straggler I want to watch but not be part of my permanent library. I'm not exactly sure logistically how that works because the watched is a function of the media being in a certain path and then counted as played or not. That means I'd have to build a separate tracker for volatile files and then check against watched/not watched since there is no NFO to write to and then keep tabs on it when video mode is used and changed outside of the Kodi media paths environment.
I'll see if I can look at other examples to see if I can implement it, but right now I'm still jammed up in this Omega debacle with slow library scans in Omega vs every other previous version. It really has taken the wind out of my sails to do anything right now because I'm now being tasked to do Kodi dev work because this is of low priority for new versions/features that no one cares about.... or should I say, I don't' care about when it directly affects my direct workflow... but I digress.
If I can get through becoming a sudo dev for Kodi to solve a problem someone else created, I'll take a look to see what I can do.
