Hello together,
i tried to find a thread with same problem/question but wasn't able to.
is it samehow possible to prefer 1 source over the other?
backgound.
i got 2 NAS running.
NAS A - small SSD drives with limited space but running 24/7 with up to date data
NAS B - big old one with spinning drives and a lot of capacity in mostly sleeping mode (HDD spinn-down)
for now i have set up 2 sources for videos and 2 for TV-Shows. 1 to each NAS.
NAS A gets scanned reguarly and NAS B only manually.
i have job running backup all data from NAS A to B once a week.
once i scan NAS B i have the movies and TV episodes twice in the libary.
is there a way to prefer source NAS A over NAS B when the files/content is the same.
so that source NAS B is only added to the libary when the files are deleted on NAS A? or only shown once with playback from NAS A.
i don't want Kodi to spinn up the drives on NAS B to playback content if it is avavible on NAS A
