Hi all

Just started using Music Media Helper and just wondering if anyone knows how I can adjust levels when ripping FLAC from MKVs, or whether its dependent on the source?

Also, in the first rips i did the end of the previous track is playing at the start of the next track. Can this be stopped?

Regards
Chris

The MKV splits are done based on chapter start times. Sometimes those aren’t very accurate, especially if it’s a gapless album like Pink Floyd’s DSOTM or The Beatles Abbey Road.

You could also try creating a CUE file using the MMH Chapter Editor for gapless albums using a single unsplit MKA with chapters, but due to the way Kodi currently reads MKAs with chapters you’ll need to remove the chapters from the MKA before scanning it with the CUE into its music library.

The MMH Chapter editor allows users to edit the chapter times so you could ‘fix’ the start times in your MKV prior to splitting and converting to FLAC.

If you are creating CUEs please ensure you are using MMH 8 or latest MMH 7.

Regarding FLAC volume, MMH does not apply any gain during conversions, but for FLAC you could apply ReplyGain to your files. MMH or Foobar2000 can do that pretty easily.
