I've noticed that with the new 21.4.10 version of the Inputstream Adaptive add-on (I'm running Kodi on Windows 11), it's causing Kodi to crash when attempting to play streams that rely on the add-on.  I've seen this happen when attempting to play streams within the Youtube, MLB.TV and Hulu add-ons, each of which relies on Inputstream Adaptive.  There's even a discussion about this in the Youtube video add-on thread, but I can confirm that this version of the Inputstream Adaptive add-on is effecting more than just Youtube.  If I manually copy over the files for the 21.4.9 version of the add-on, Kodi won't crash when attempting to play streams that rely on the add-on, so there's definitely something wrong with 21.4.10.

Also had this problem in Win 11.  I can confirm that both solutions worked for me:

* Downgrade Inputstream Adaptive (problem came back after I reinstalled newest version)
* Install MS VS++ Redis 14.40.33810.0 (solved problem permanently)

yes the root of problem is Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable version
so ensure you installed last Kodi release (or last Kodi 21 nightly), and, last Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable version
