v21 Kodi is eating massive amount of bandwidth when I launch or scan
#1
For a few days, Kodi seems to eat randomly massive amount of bandwidth. I did not open any video, nor added any addon. The last addon I added was global search from official Kodi repository, I thought it ate all bandwidth, but when I removed it, Kodi seems still doing same. It happens randomly or when I start scanning my server for new movies.
kodi.log file is here LOG

It just keeps doing it until I turn off WIFI or force close Kodi. Then suddenly its fixed for a certain time.

Sounds like you have Kodi running on a laptop? If you have a Kodi interface, set scanning to off atm. I suspect we are dealing with a shared memory system, did Kodi every work on this set-up in the past? The latest driver package for Intel HD Graphics 4000 is version 15.33.53.5161 while you have Intel 10.18.10.5161. I think the thrashing you are seeing is the GFX engine accessing shared memory and is overburdened with the limited spec of the hardware. Then it appears you have some network issues (The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found), so let's try and get a working set-up by eliminating the network source and pick one or two movies and put them on the local drive and make that a source... If the movie scans and plays well, then your issue is in the networking. Syncing and sharing (wiki) but in general, old laptops are great for spreadsheets, but limited when it comes to home theatre.

I ran into this on the MS site. Intel HD 4000 users: There is no support for HD 4000 in Win 10 and the result is the hardware fails.
