[font][font]Hallo, hab ein komisches Problem, erstmals kann ich Kodi, gerne noch 20.5 oder aber auch 21.0 nicht installieren. Nach dem Download installiert es sich nicht. Ich denke es liegt an der Berechtigung, Dateien und Ordner freizugeben, das wird mir aber nicht angezeigt, sondern nur Berechtigung fürs Mikrofon?! Am Anfang erscheint auch die Meldung, dass diese Kodiversion nicht mit der aktuellen Version für Android kompatibel ist oder so ähnlich ist. Keine Ahnung, was das Problem ist. Ich hatte zuvor Kodi 20 installiert und funktionierte einwandfrei, dann wurde versehentlich Kodi auf 21 aktualisiert. Es funktionierte dann nicht mehr. Deshalb werde ich nun neu installieren. One ui 6.1.1 Android 14 ist alles aktuell. Weiss jemand was das Problem ist und wie ich es lösen kann? Danke[/font][/font]

Here the translation, I have identical device and similar problem. I wiped Kodi 21.1 from my device and wanted to reinstall. Same question for permission for mic only, then app closes and on restart complains about not granted accesscto files, which it never asked. No idea how to generate a debug log, but willing to try with a bit of guidande,
Hello, I have a strange problem, for the first time I can't install Kodi, either 20.5 or 21.0. After downloading it does not install. I think it's due to the permission to share files and folders, but that doesn't appear to me, only permission for the microphone?! At the beginning you will also see a message saying that this version of the code is not compatible with the current version for Android or something similar. No idea what the problem is. open settings on your phone (not in kodi)
open apps
find kodi in the apps and click it
there should be permissions
any permissions listed select "allow always" if available, if not just allow in general
sorry this can't be more specific as i do not own the specific device in question

Thanks, but again only mic permissions are listed on that screen, and it states that all permissions have been granted. Appears that file access permissions are not being requested. Weired, since until removal and reinstall (both today) it worked nicely...

sounds to me like an actual bug then
unless there are other ideas offered i would suggest submitting a bug report for a developer to look into
