Kodi connect alexa and SMB
#1
Hello,

When I use Kodi Connect Alexa and ask the addon to play a movie, it searches for network resources that may not be online (SMB resources). How can we ignore them if that's the case? Additionally, Kodi on Android seems to have difficulties with Windows 10 SMB, which it doesn't detect, forcing me to go through the SMB of a Linux virtual machine to access it, and the final result is not always very reliable. What can I do?

Thank you in advance.

pretty sure this is a defunct project, you will have to track down the developer for answers and/or improvements

automatically detecting an smb share is pretty inconsistent on kodi
use the "Add Network Location" method to add it manually - https://kodi.wiki/view/SMB#Add_Network_Location
