Hi,
I'm aware about the fiolder access changes in Android and so I've setup an external folder for Kodi as described here (Of couse Kodi was turned off).
As long as I do not turn off my Media-Setup (Wifi Switch) everything runs fine. Closing, open Kodi uses my default profile and setups (advancedsettings, guisettings and so on).
After turn on my devices again the things are running weired:
As I opened the profiles.xml via SCP to check it before starting Kodi, it showed 3 kB in Size but was completley empty. So I restored it and then the log showed the second mentioned thing above, my default profile guisettings was missing / empty too.
Just a guess but for me it looks like Kodi still tries to access its internal folder first before it reads the extrernal configuration file and the changed path (probably a bug?!?).
For information, my device is the latest Google TV Streamer with Android 14.
Does anyone have a clue how to solve this in a comfortabel way and keep my power consumption low?
