hi guys no sound output through xbmc for this codec is it supported? or possibly in the future the tag looks like this

it works fine under media player classic home cinema

Wma3 is a moving target in ffmpeg upstream. I bet your issue is more the "8 chan" rather than wma3.

is there a reason it works fine in media player classic home cinema then regardless of 8ch?

I have seen some old forum posts and that wma is not supported if this is still the case then fair enough Blush

I would guess that "media player classic home cinema" does not use ffmpeg.
