shoutcast freezes at "waiting for stream start" or whatever it says...
it also freezes when a steam can't be found because dns lookup still does not work.
i think its just freezing when the pop-up dialog box is supposed to dissapear, but i can't really tell since there is no log file.
i'll play with it some more tomorrow and give you whatever new bugs have been created...

dns lookup fails somehow, try editting the .pls file and
put in the ipadres. that should work

dns hasn't worked since the last cvs. but for ip'd pls files it still doesn't work. it just freezes.

i'm having the same problem with shoutcast in this build. it freezes at this point:
opening
bla bla bla
waiting for start.....
theres a cancel button, but its not possible to press it. it's all frozen.. and i need to reboot the xbox. i've tried with both ip-address and dns name.

should be fixed now please test new builds.

12-8 still doesn't work, freezes at "waiting for start",
i've tried turning on and off every combination of options for the audio settings and still no go.
on the plus side, dns works now =)

hmmm shoutcast works nicely on my xbox.
does it happen to all shoutcast stations? and how long did you wait, when the message "waiting for start" was displayed?
btw, pressing the cancel buttons isn't going to work since it isn't coded to do anything yet, so it could be that your xbox is not frozen but just waits for something.

same here, 12-08, it says "opening <somesong - someartist>" then "buffering 0" (can't see it buffering anything) then "waiting for start..." and it just stays there.
happens with all stations and you can wait forever, it won't start.

same experience as charly, no matter how long i wait nothing happens.
normal mp3's stream fine off my samba share.
