i have tried the most recent version of xbmc, and it looks great for watching my 1600x1200 pixel slides.

however:
- 480 p is great
- 720 p (with pixel ratio set to 0.75) is even better but
- 1080 i does not work well: only about a quarter of the picture is displayed... ( games work in 1080 on my 4:3 video projector).

any ideas why that is?
