i want to put xbmc on a dvd-r with files in a folder named videos so that i can archive some of my files onto disc. i have asked about this before, but it still doesn`t work, i want to set a dvd bookmark to the folder d:\videos\ but when you select the bookmark xbmc always shows the root of d:
it works fine with xbmp, also if xbmc is running off disc what happens if it tries to cache to a folder in home$?

hi,

if you start xbmc from dvd u have to configure the xboxmediacenter.xml the way that the playlist is stored
anywhere on the hd.

i think the original playlists are stored inside the xbmc
folder, wich , because its a dvd, cant be rewritten!

hope thats a solution...
