i live in australia and we use pal...
whenever i load up xbmc is does a wierd switch thing and the whole screen flickers and changes its resolution, and i think it goes to ntsc?
xbmp however does less of a switch and comes up much more cleanly, but still displays in pal
now..i tried putting a realmedia (.rm) file to vhs tape with xbmc coz xbmp doesnt do it...
but when i watched it back my vcr could not play it...it does the same thing as when i try and watch ntsc tapes in the vcr...or as if copy protection is somehow activated and bypasses my bios (which sounds very weird)...it comes up with static so much its impossible to watch
is there a setting i can use to chage it to pal? could there be another reason it would do this in xbmc and not in xbmp?
