have 3 in my house for over 3 years.. every month I try to build a HTPC .. give up and go back to the XBOX using component cables to my HDTV..

i agree with you but I am keeping an eye on the apple tv with the videocard and davilla's drivers and the acer revo is looking grat too. once the price drops below 200, I will pick one up. Still loving my xbox after all these years though...

Just picked up an ASRock ION 330 to play with.. see how that goes.. my X'Mas present this year.

Got XBMC on my ATV + Xbox, they are both perfect media centers for normal DVD's, especially the AppleTV...But if you have a large Library, they are both very sluggish/choppy on navigation...
