I am a newbie when it comes to XBMC on windows. And I google a lot and found that it seem completely random what remotes and receivers users choose.
I'm also looking for a remote, and I see a lot of problems for many setups. E.g. people complain that signals are registered double when they click their remotes, and there are a lot of custom settings and strange xml-files to download.
Can somebody please just make a tutorial that works for Windows, Linux and Mac? Just choose a remote that we know will exist in market for some time!
I don't care what, just make it work with minimum efforts from me, and I'll buy what's recommended. The price is probably not interesting, as they all have a pretty low cost.
