im having a problem and according to xlink people .. this one is upto u guys to fix ...

when i make a arena using my pc ui ... and then go to my xbox and xbmc takes over ... i loose the host status (no one can see my game) ..

i have to go back to my pc .. start the ui .. and make myself yes im hosting a game

please either tell me the cure or fix this bug

sounds like you have a general network problem that's not contained to kai or ftp so you should really start by doing basic troubleshooting:
1. connect a crossover cat-5/5e/6 cable direct from xbox to the nic in the pc (this rules out any switches, hubs etc. you had between before).
(...if you already only had a crossover cable connected like that then try a other new crossover cable).
2. make sure you got latest bios on your modchip (don't ask us where to get them).
3. if using evox or a other dashboard than xbmc then update to the latest version of it and set same network settings in it as in xbmc.
4. update to latest cvs of xbmc.

how can this possibly be a network problem ... i can use xbmc kai just fine .. stream movies from pc just fine , browse arenas in xbmc kai , chat etc etc .. its just when a pc ui has made a arena ... and when xbmc ui takes over the arena is still there but i dont have yes im hosting status any more

please advice accordingly

make sure you have the newest xlink kai software, also make sure you're only running the engine on the pc.

edit: the newest software is on there news page.

don't create the arena on the pc, just use xbmc.
