i started using smb first with |darkie's new 3.01 implementation and i discovered that on my network it takes 4-5 seconds for the "first contact"/lookup when i first choose smb. after the first lookup, there's no such delays = it's rapid.
is this something that can be tweaked away, or a known problem?
