for about 2 months xbmc has not been able to find/use my nameserver.
november-ish builds worked, xbmp works, the new builds don't. i've tried the default xml config file and removing the tdata and udata directories for xbmc and it still doesn't work. considering xbmp works still that its an issue with xbmc.

is there anyone here that has the nameserver lookup working and also uses a cable modem router?(i have a netgear) i'd like to know if you had to do anything special to get it to work, and what your xml settings are for the domain name.

well i use a dsl router (smc brricade abr7004) and nameserver works for me. i use the routers ip for <nameserver> in the config file.
