If I am correct with the mediaportal plugin we can't skip forward or rewind live tv can we ? We can only pause then play ?

Now the issue is if I have a mediaportal backend server and 2 clients running xbmc

If one of the clients goes to view BBC ONE then it starts playings and a ts timeshift file is created which it reads from.

Now if the second client comes along 30 minutes later and trys to view BBC ONE it sees the ts timeshift file already exists and starts playing.
The problems is you are now watching BBC ONE 30 minutes behind live tv and have no way of going to the end of the ts timeshift file.

Any idea ? WorkaroundS?

Any ideas, the new mediaportal tvserver addon plugin is meant to support timeshifting but i can't seem to remind or fast forward

Are they from october 9th or later? Works fine here with the latest XBMC nightlies and latest self-compiled pvr addon.
