Disregard my previous error. A pattern seems to be developing lately.

Suddenly, my USB tuner started acting flaky and I didn't realize it at first. Only after trying to tune in a digital broadcast with another application, VLC, did I finally realize the tuner wasn't functioning properly. ONLY after removing the device, inserting it temporarily in another machine running Windows to test it, and then reinserting it back into the machine running GNU/LInux did it finally start operating properly. Absolutely weird ...

Just a heads up: All Xbmc Frodo builds from the Team XBMC PPA already have the mythtv plugin pre-packaged. Currently that is unstable and nightly

I'm receiving the following error when attempting to run LiveTV with libcmyth. Obviously, I finally managed to populate the channels via libcmyth into XBMC 12.0b1, but the following error prevents further progress.

The REAL problem lies in using the latest development version of Enlightenment's E17 window manager. For some reason, E17 has persistently been refusing to display data from DVB devices running either MythTV or XBMC. As soon as I switch to XFCE, the PVR plugin starts working normally. Unfortunately, reaching the developers of E17 is difficult at best. I highly DOUBT this problem with E17 will be fixed by their release date of 21 Dec 2012.
