Android 2.1

Hello, is there any way to install xbmc on Android 2.1 ?
I'd try to move the apk to system/app but it's just too big and I dont have space on internal memory as the android 2.1 installs all apps on internal memory.
Perhaps I should try to manually flash the phone to android 4.0 ? Ive got xperia x10 mini.

Android 2.1 is way, way too old. 2.3 (Gingerbread) is the absolute minimum. ICS/JB are preferred.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

Thanks for a fast reply; Ill try to install 4.0 then. Wish me luck Nerd

Edit:
So, after several hours, I finally managed to flash my phone.
Took so long cos after google search it sent me to a forum with a x10 mini pro flashes, after not being able to get my touchscreen and buttons working I found out there is another not-pro subforum with similar downloads xD
Long story short - I manged to install xbmc, but now after launch it says my xbmc packagage is not compatible with my device. bleh.

your phone CPU needs to support the NEON instruction set.
