Hi

I upgraded today to RC3 of frodo. I am mainly upgrading to get the latest MythTV PVR working a bit better than
was shipped with RC2, it was brilliant except for launching live tv and changing channel, which worked OK, but
was a bit too slow for a good WAF/SWMBO. I saw a post elsewhere that said the latest dev version was a lot
quicker, so that is why I have updated.

Unfortunately it appears the plugin is no longer shipped with the rc3 download, according to the RC3 release notes
on the website

I have downloaded the latest 2 versions of the mythtv plugins from http://www.dotnetdevelopers.net/XBMC/xbmcpvr.html
but when I try to install them it says the file structure is invalid.

Can anyone please advise where I can get a pre built zip of the latest mythtv pvr plugin, to be run on Mythbuntu linux

Just for laughs, did you put the file on a network drive and then tried to install?
If so place it on a local drive and try again

No, I copied the zip file to a local directory via a samba share, checked permissions, and then tried to install addon from zip

Hi, I had this problem and just found the solution to this problem. As per: http://xbmc.org/natethomas/2013/01/03/xb...ndidate-3/ the PVR addons are now in seperate packages from the same PPA as XBMC. So this got it installed for me:

sudo apt-get install xbmc-pvr-mythtv-cmyth
