I've searched the forum and found similar threads of people trying to play dvd images, but none which came up with a solution.
I've got XBMC 12.1 running on multiple devices, so i'm using a mysql library and smb shares on my NAS for my data.
On my htpc's i've got no issues playing back anything, on the nexus 7 all avi/mkv are playing back fine, but no *.iso *.img or video_ts dvd images.
I've had this issue with 12.0 too, was hoping for a solution in 12.1, but unfortunately not.
After starting a movie, i see it's loading, then after ten or twenty seconds XBMC crashes and i go back to the tablets homescreen
here's the logfile:

can anyone point me to a solution for this?
edit:
It seems to have something to do with the regionsettings of the dvd player on the tablet.

which is strange since all the images are decrypted, and also because there's no physical dvdplayer in the tablet
