Are you referring to post #504 ? If so, then you're probably out of luck since that concerns a mod of this add-on. If you just have SQL errors in general and have your database in SQLite format, this add-on is only useful if it syncs two installations of Kodi. Just copy the good database over the one with errors (while Kodi is not running).

Thanks @HeresJohnny So I have MariaDB 10 on my NAS & yes the DB no longer works. So i need to just copy over the add-on from you that fixes the SQL issues start a new DB in MariaDB 10 and hope for the best then

I noticed I was getting an occasional delay when opening the YouTube addon (I use WatchedList writing to a single file via SMB also).

I checked my logs and the delay seems to be caused by WatchedList which runs sometimes when I open YouTube.

Has anyone else seen this? 

You can see the 2-3 minute delay below in this log excerpt (meanwhile the YouTube addon is sat in a loading state and Kodi becomes unresponsive to any commands).

Hi all!

I've run into a bit of an issue.  The PC i used to run MySQL suffered a gravity induced hard drive failure, and I find myself having to start over.

The SQL server is an Ubuntu 22.05, with mySQL installed.  The watchedlist.db was saved to another network share and is still accessible.

The PC running Kodi still has the mySQL IP / Port / user / pass info, which I duplicated onto the new mySQL server.

What are my next steps?

I've searched but haven't seen an answer. Is there a way to disable the "WatchedList running in 5 minutes" type pop-ups during video playback? As far as I can tell, none of the other add-ons display their pop-ups while movies are playing, but WL does. It looks like earlier versions of Kodi had a setting under Add-ons > Program Add-ons > Notifications where it was possible to unsubscribe a particular add-on, but that setting isn't in 20.3.2 as far as I can tell.

I have set the addon to update the database periodically every 3 hrs then when the app triggers the update, a popup appears and then Kodi is locked I cannot do anything unless a video is playing then it probably runs in the background? is there a necessary reason for why the periodic update cannot run silently and without this popup? is there a way to hide it?

Add-on unofficlally updated by me to work with latest Kodi 20, will also work with Kodi 19.

1. Disable the progress dialog, which is blocking the screen
   
2. Set the verbosity e.g. to "only warning", if the notification on the top right is annoying. If there are many notifications, they are each displayed for a few seconds and you have notifications popping up for minutes.

I already have those settings, the progress dialog is already disabled and I set the "amount of user info" to none, is there another verbosity setting I am not seeing? I think the overlay pop up is the issue in the addon design. the addon doesn't need to block the usage of kodi while it is updating especially when this only happens when nothing is being played. so this means when something is played, the addon can update completely in the background so why not make this the default behavior?

Sorry I just saw that you replied. It's been showing up during video playback. However Kodi has updated since I first posted this. I'll have to check to see if it's still doing it. Since I couldn't find a solution, we've learned to ignore it.

Is anyone else using WatchedList and running the YouTube addon? 

I still get the long pauses prior to loading YouTube videos and it's 100% WatchedList causing the problem (see log in prev post).

This means I have to manually disable WatchedList each time I use the YouTube addon, which is incredibly clunky/frustrating.

The play count in the MariaDB is 255. Apparently you can watch a movie only 255 times before WatchedList complains about it. Our son has easily watched this--or more correctly had it playing in the background--255 times. I guess I need to manually edit the DB to lower the number? Any reason why it fails on one TV but not the others? I tried editing the play count down to 10 in MariaDB, restarted Kodi, WatchedList still fails. Do I need to edit the metadata on the one Kodi instance where WL fails to lower the playcount? I don't care if it's accurate--I just want WL to work again for the watched state of other movies and TV Shows.

I can't seem to edit, so I'll reply to myself. The play count in this Kodi instance was 270(!) according to metadata editor. Perhaps the discrepancy (270 vs 255 in the WL DB) is what was causing the error. Now I have to check the previously working TVs to see if lowering the play count to 10 messes them up.

Ah, there's the edit button! Anyway I implied but didn't specifically state that lowering the playcount to 10 on the instance having issues enabled WL to start working again. I went to another TV and WL still works there.
