I am having issues getting XBMC to play my LiveTV.

My streams work fine within WMC, however, all I get is the word WORKING on XBMC and then it goes away.

If I try to load it from the EPG I get the following error: Channels could not be played. Check the log for details.

I am able to setup recordings and they seem to record on WMC. However, playing back does not work.

You need to specify user/password credentials in serverWMC for the client to use to access the "Recorded TV2" share on MASTERMIND PC.

On MASTERMIND PC, the default recorded TV location is E:\Recorded TV\ and this is shared as "Recorded TV2" - is that correct? If so then it is probably just permissions as above.

Also FYI your client is running 0.2.93 pvr.wmc addon, but we are up to 0.2.95 now so you should update it if you want the latest fixes etc

Wow, cannot believe I did such a silly mistake. I had changed the permissions for "everyone" to access it, but I guess that wasn't enough.

I have upgraded for to the latest.

No worries glad it's up and running!

"Everyone" in windows speak doesnt mean "anyone", rather it means "all known users/groups". Given your client is non windows, it doesnt have any user credentials being passed over by default, and thus is anonymous, and not covered by "everyone". Once you specify a user/password in ServerWMC, the "everyone" permission is then adequate
