The Official XBMC Remote is incredible. I have it on my iPhone, my wifes, and our iPad. I use it to control XBMC on our Raspberry Pi.
I just purchased an Amazon Fire TV and loaded up XBMC on it. When I try to connect The Official XBMC Remote app to it, it's a no go.
The IP Address of the Amazon Fire TV is 192.168.1.135. When launch XBMC, and checking the network information, the IP Address is 192.168.1.135. Same thing.
Is there a conflict here that will prevent me from using XBMC Remote with XBMC on Amazon Fire TV?
XBMC is simply nowhere near as good without this amazing app.
Does anyone know?
