Apologies, no mouse/keyboard are connected to my Kodi system. Had to copy everything from a DOS box by means of a iOS "remote mouse" app.

looking at the log, everything seems fine. I dunno what is happening there then, something strange because you are the only one with this kind issue

The problem has been resolved by Karlson2k in his Feb 5th bugfix release of Kodi 14.1: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=216275
