Okay so i'm trying to figure out what i can do about this.

In Advanced Launcher i only have 2 viewtype options, List and Thumbnails, and i want to have more, because some boxart just looks weird. i checked the view XML's to see if i could alter something, or to find a reason why it's just these two, but no dice, any tips/advice ?

If you're still interested, RazorFR's just now addressed this with three new views for Advanced Launcher (and, apparently, music): http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=252223

As for what to edit, you'll want to edit whichever View you'd like to use for Advanced Launcher (View_###Title.xml), adding "!Container.Content(addons)" wherever other "!Container.Content" variables are listed. After that it's just a matter of editing MyPrograms.xml to include your new view (if you've copied and renamed a View_###Title.xml file so as not to replace one of the views that came with this skin). Its an exercise in tedium, at least in my opinion, but definitely doable.
