I have OpenElec running on a RaspberryPi and an URL pointing to an audio file/playlist/whatever on my phone (cyanogenmod running Android 5.1.1.). Is there an addon or another way that allows me to send that URL via Kore to OE and have it then stream or download that file?

I tried using the Open With feature on a link in firefox and while it opens Kore nothing else happens.

Only youtube URLs are supported. The Open With is available everywhere because the youtube app shares the url via plain text, so to catch that it must catch all urls.

So, is there an alternative? Some addon I can use with the "Send text to media center" feature of Kore to open an URL in Kodi? It seems to be such a basic task I'm wondernig if I'm missing the wood for the trees.
