Via \Videos\Files I accidently added a folder to the movies library. As a results, a new menu "Movies" apperared on the homescreen (between Videos and Music).

As I said, I accidently added the folder and hence, do not want a Movie library. However, I havent been able to remove the menu "Movies" from the homescreen.

Any ideas how to achieve that?

You can remove it or rather hide it in skin settings. Under the System > Skin menu.
