Hi Kodi Community!

I am a new member so I apologise if there is already a thread on this topic.

I have been having difficulty outputting the correct audio that I would like from Kodi on my MINIX android box. I have many high res 7.1 channel movies which I have been trying to play with all 7.1 channels output from kodi but have had no luck. My home theatre system does not support DTS-HD but does support DTS. The manufacturer of my android box said it is capable of, "7.1 and 5.1 surround sound pass through over HDMI, DD+/DTS (pass-through) and Dolby TrueHD (pass-through)".

Is there a way I can output 7.1 channel audio in DTS or LPCM or anything other than DTS-HD? from Kodi on my android box?

I am fairly new to the whole digital audio codec world so excuse any incorrect statements

I have never seen DTS-HD in Android maybe so. But id love to know too hoping someone will answer this
