when I click fast forward or backforward,the progressbar of kodi 17 is so thick that I can't see my subtitles clearly...

There is provision in settings to move subtitles up or down.
Or a different skin may suit you better.

thx.so it's just a skin problem... and where is the settings I can change the position of subtitles.

Sounds like you're using a skin that hasn't kept up with all the recent skin changes; which one is it?

default skin of kodi 17 beta1.

and the fonts must be Arial based.cause the skin default doesn't work well about Chinese characters.

Yeah, Estuary doesn't use the little mini display, but shows basically a full OSD, whenever seeking or pausing. I'm not a fan of that either.
