Not sure the right term for this but watching a few videos latley Xvid on linux xbmc im setting an effect that happens some times on moving objects..
lets say a arm moves in a waving pattern from left to right across the screen, on the edge of the arm you can see color banding, some times red/green, some times a bit of grey. It doesn't happen on all scenes. A good example would be to find a copy of Smallville HDTV rip and watch this at 1080p.
This does not show up on my old xbox, nor when I play the file on my pc.
