Speaking of which, is there a place now to get updates on the development progress of 64bit builds? Last I heard was that part necessary for MPEG-DASH support in YouTube was broken for 64bit and that's what's keeping me from moving up to the 64bit build.

AFAIK inputstream.adaptive is broken on all plattforms atm. Peak3D was waiting on the add-on interface changes to hit master before he continues to improve and fix the add-on.

For clarity, when you say 'broken on all platforms' you mean just for v18, right?

When i install the (x86) version when i start kodi o get a message windows stop working.
if I install the 64 bit it installs ver 18 and works but I want to install ver 17.5. any suggestions on how to install 64 bit ver 17.5
