Sounds not working with blueray/hd

Sometimes the sound of blueray/hd movies doesend work. Can anyoe tell me why this is. I tryed using different settings under windowws and xmbc but notthing gives

I'm running it under vista ultimate. Maybe i need to update or down load some drivers for these sounds formats Huh?

Understand that not all AVCHD / Blu-ray / HD DVD files use the same audio codec.

DTS Hd and TrueHD are unsupported. So unless you have standard dts or ac3 in the files, you are out of luck.

Shouldn't XBMC currently be able to passthrough the audio, if you have an amp that supports DTSHD or TrueHDHuh

Or can we not even do passthrough yet?

no. don't think it's even allowed to be passed over s/pdif
