Hello guys, Kodi newbie here, so bear with me...
I like to have external subtitle files both in english (when it's just me watching) and my mother language (to watch with family). From the wiki, it seems that this is possible, but it's not clear how the selection is handled automatically, especially if the movie file is an .mkv which may also have embedded subtitles.
So, suppose you have an .mkv with embedded subtitle (let's say in english). And you then add two external subtitle files (another in english and some other language). When playing the movie, which subtitle is actually going to be displayed? Presumably, the language is chosen based on the global setting, but what about the order between embedded and external subtitles in the same language? Is there a way to ignore the embedded track automatically?
Thanks in advance!
