Hello forum

among using Kodi as a "mediacenter" i am wondering if PDF's  files can be shown in a Kodi environment (with a beemer, Estouchy GUI and a Bluetooth remote Air Mouse) ?

If yes, is the same the same with single pictures (slideshow) possible?

Kodi is a multimedia application that focuses on videos, photos and music files as in an entertainment environment. PDF files tends not to have the same target audience in mind, so no, PDF support is not likely to be added soon. But if a specific addon for displaying PDFs were to be made, then we could look into it.

Displaying photos is possible since the early days, so that would not pose a problem as far a I can see. A beamer gets its video source remotely, bluetooth is a hardware thing. They are more secundary issues.

You can test drive Kodi by installing LibreELEC onto a USB stick, and have it boot on a PC. You can see what possibilities Kodi has.
