Hi guys, hoping for some advice
I'm trying to parent-proof a kodi setup. I have locked down music and movie shares so only I can add stuff to the NAS / kodi library function
I have setup a "Dump" share on my NAS that my parents can copy any music/photos/vids to
I now would like to setup a menu item in kodi so they can browse the filesystem in that share and launch any media file type they have put in there
I have added the NAS Dump share as a video source - but browsing it in file mode only shows video files (not photos or music)
I have played around with launching filemanager to that network path, and you can launch all file types .... but I feel that is a bit clunky and not user friendly ... and they may inadvertently delete something from another filemanager share
So .... my question is ... is there a simple way to browse a network share or path in a simple clean, user friendly fashion and be able to see ALL media types
Setup is NVIDIA Shield / Leia
Thanks for any help
